Adjustment for Gain

When making bends to SBT runs an adjustment for gain must be considered, this is the difference between the length of tubing required to complete a sharp bend as opposed to the length of tubing actually required to achieve the radial bend using a tube bender.

NOTE

The distance of the radial bend will always be smaller than the sharp bend.

Adjustment for Gain

To form the required bend see the following calculation and make up tube to suit.

To mark up the rest of the tube to suit the bends add the next length to the previous length but subtract the gain of the previous bend.
